Hippity Hoppity, Easter is on its way! Easter holidays for 2021 are April 1 through 5 – are you ready?!

The Village of Memramcook is holding a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt from April 1 -5. There are 30 eggs to be found; you can use their online form to find the locations & submit your completed list.

Bennic re-opens for the season on April 1 – no joke! Get out & try some of the amazing new options, including lactose free Vanilla soft serve & Monster Cookie Hard Ice Cream. Locations in Moncton (Mountain Road, next to the Candy Depot) & Dieppe. Follow their Facebook page for all the details! On the topic of yummy eats, FEAST Atlantic’s Greater Moncton Poutine Week kicks off April 1. Check out their Facebook page if you want to drool over dozens & dozens of amazing local poutine creations – then try some out!!

The Magnetic Hill Zoo is open April 2 – 5 with an Easter scavenger hunt to enjoy along with the animals! (The Zoo is open Thursdays through Mondays in April, 10am – 4pm, when we’re in the yellow or orange phases; you are asked to book your ticket online in advance of arriving and spaces are limited.)

Jules’ Specialty Cookies is holding an Easter themed pop-up shop on April 2, starting at 11am and going until 1pm or sold out!

The Easter Bunny is hopping into BassPro Shops for photos ops on Saturday, April 3. There were a few spots left for reservations when we checked; don’t wait to try to secure your spot!

Middle Sackville Baptist Church (the ‘Church by the Lake‘) is holding a drive thru Easter experience on Saturday from 2-4pm. There will be treats, prizes, and maybe even a visit by the Bunny himself! Details on their event page.

New Hope Church (on the Homestead Road) is holding a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 1pm. You start in the church parking lot, receive clues, find six poster board eggs placed throughout the community, then return for a treat bag.

Resurgo Place is open Saturdays, as well as this Sunday for a special opening of the discovery centre.

The Moncton Wildcats are hosting the Acadie Bathurst Titan on Saturday at the Avenir Centre. Game time is 7pm.

Farmer Brown’s Greenhouse is always holding great events for families; this weekend its seeding workshops on Sunday & Monday. Contact Farmer Brown’s to book your spot! (We’re told their pizza is some of the best around, too!!)
