YMCA & City of Moncton Mobile Fun 2026 Schedule – Free Weekly Block Parties All Summer Long!

Hands down one of our favourite summer events is the City of Moncton / YMCA Greater  Moncton Mobile Fun collaboration! Moncton Mobile Fun 2026 is going to be another fabulous summer series of free, family-friendly fun. Not only are they providing weekly free events, but also they’re creating incredible opportunities for people to connect with each and explore the spaces that are meant to bring us together. Create your own playground hop for the summer!

If you haven’t been to one of the Mobile Fun Block Parties, here’s what you need to know:

  • It’s two hours of free fun, every Tuesday night, at a different park or playground within the city limits.
  • The YMCA Mobile Fun team brings fun outdoor games, like supersize Jenga & parachute, that you can use.
  • They also invite great partners (Par T Perfect & Travel to You Zoo & Remi the Magician) to set up bouncy castles and lots of little critters you can meet. Watch for a few surprise visitors this year, too!
  • These parties are rain or shine; only severe weather will cancel plans & we’ll do our best to share any such updates, but you should check the YMCA & Moncton social media, too.
  • Remember your sun screen, hydration, and a towel for drying off from the splash pads & foam pit. (And maybe sweaters some weeks, too!)
  • Each block party lasts from 6-8pm.
  • We love picking up dinner/packing a picnic and coming early!
  • If you’re driving, be slow & cautious and respectful of the houses around – or consider taking the bus (more below).
