Moncton’s Pauline Frizzell Park
Moncton’s Pauline Frizzell Park is another Pickle Planet favourite! Located on the former Uplands School site, this space is modern, inviting, and placed safely back from Salisbury Road with parking – and even a port-a-potty some summers!
Pauline Frizzell Park has a small play structure meant for ages two to five, as well as a larger structure with some great climbing features. Both have multiple slides.
There is a tire swing, an accessible swing, an infant swing, and two other swings.
The playground has lots of green space, with shaded areas as well as a shelter. There are lots of benches scattered around the park.
There is a large splash area that draws lots of attention in the summer but is generally less busy than the larger splash parks.
There is also one basketball net with a large court.
Pauline Frizzell Playground has lots of space, feels secluded despite being on a main road, and has elements to appeal to various ages. With this summer’s addition of a port-a-potty, it’s definitely a park worth visiting again and again!
To find Pauline Frizzell Park, search for 387 Salisbury Road. It’s between Edinburgh Drive and Toys for Big Boys, on a Codiac Transpo Route.
