Moncton’s Valhalla Playground

Moncton’s Valhalla Playground is a lovely little space tucked away off busy Mountain Road, on Monte Carlo Crescent. You can hear the traffic, but the playground is quiet and surrounded by green space.

There is a swing set; when we visited there were two infant swings and two other, as well as three swirly seats and two fun little sets of stepping posts. The spinning pole was a big hit with our family!

There’s one climbing structure with a slide and some neat design features – there was much discussion as to whether this was a leaf and a bee or a turtle shell and a person!

This space has two benches, wide trails, bike racks, and a garbage can with pet-friendly baggies on site. There are lots of shady spots for picnicking, as well as a shelter with a table.
