Pickle Planet’s 2025 Guide to Halloween is your one-stop spot for everything Halloween-related in the Greater Moncton Area – costume inspiration, craft & décor ideas, haunted houses, ghost stories, and more! (We’ll add to this as we learn of more events, so keep coming back – and share with your friends, too!)

HALLOWEEN HOURS
There aren’t a lot of hard & fast rules around when you can start trick-or-treating. Moncton, Riverview, & Dieppe encourage trick-or-treating between no later than 8pm and no earlier than 4pm on October 31. Generally we’ve found people locally consider 5pm to 7:30pm the ideal time to knock on someone’s door; watch for outside lights and/or decorations to indicate that houses are welcoming trick-or-treaters. Remember to be safe on the streets & polite on others’ property!

HAUNTED HOUSES TO VISIT AROUND MONCTON
Have an awesomely decorated house to add? Drop your info in the comments! We’ll update as we find more spots, too!
Please note: These photos are from previous years – we’re hoping to update soon with 2025 photos.
A must-visit on our annual list is 19 Waterfall Drive in Riverview (below; photo from previous year); Keeping Up With The Bones bring their skeleton friends out to play each year. Stop by to admire the constantly changing display!
Also on Waterfall you’ll find this spooky yard!
There’s also an awesome display on Killarney Road in Riverview each year (photo below), and we always check out the mannequin family on Coverdale (across from the Riverfront playground). We’ve also been told to check out 14 Cosburn Drive in Riverview this year.
In Moncton, we always check out the corner of Alexander Avenue & Milner Road to see what their AT-AT is up to (photo below) – but it was their dancing skeletons that had our hearts last year! Check out the light show on the front lawn (and make plans to come back here when this turns into a Christmas tree & display!)
Salisbury Road has several homes with great displays, too, & we’ve seen some great photos from the Old West End. Check out this amazing home on Broadview Avenue (photo from 2024)!

Did you visit the fabulous haunted house on the corner of Pellerin & Rockcliffe yet?! They have an incredible display each year!
The folks at 59 Falcon Drive in Moncton’s North End have been going all out the past few years & we love it. The photo below is only a snippet of what they had on display in previous years. We highly suggest exploring the neighbouring streets, too – we saw some great displays between Falcon & Deerfield last year!
We heard about a fantastic display in Dieppe – and wow! We’re so impressed! Thanks to the Williams family for sharing these photos from their home at 23 François Court.
Take a drive to check out the Greys Island Halloween House. They’re adding to their display throughout the month but it already looks incredible! Lights are on at 26 Greys Island Road, approximately 7-9pm nightly, weather permitting.
LaFiouk Restaurant in Kouchibouguac has an inflatable collection that is something else; a great photo op & little kiddo friendly! We’re waiting to see dates for 2025.
