Strawberry U-Picks near Moncton
Strawberry U-Picking in the Greater Moncton Area
It’s a tasty time of year! Strawberry season is generally the month of July (though sometimes starting in late June), with raspberry season starting toward the end of month. Here are links to strawberry u-picks that are a quick drive from Moncton, with a few raspberry & haskap berry farms mentioned, too.
PLEASE, check the source links and even call ahead before heading out; farms often have to close the fields because of weather and other conditions. We’d hate for you to be disappointed!
(Please note: We do our best to update this post each season, but sometimes you get here before we do – and sometimes businesses change. Always be sure to click through to the source links we provide and check directly with the farm before heading out! This post was last updated in June 2022.)
MONCTON & AREA BERRY U-PICKS
Les Petits Fruits de Pre-d’en-Haut in Memramcook is open for strawberry picking for summer 2022, starting on June 29. Check their Facebook page or call (758-0987) before heading out, as they do occasionally close the field for a day or two to let berries ripen. There’s a little playground for the kids, and jams and jellies available to purchase. Watch for their raspberries to be ready soon after their strawberries, followed by highbush blueberries. Their pumpkin u-pick opens in mid-September.
Ferme Vienneau is located roughly 25-minutes from Moncton, in Beaubassin East. Call 577-4948 to check on conditions & watch their Facebook page for updates. They grow much more than strawberries, so be sure to stock up!
Hicks Berry Patch is a great little u-pick just outside of Sackville that is opening for summer 2022; you can call Hicks at 536-4593 and check their Facebook page for updates. Keep them in mind for blueberry season, too!
Snap a family photo with a giant strawberry at Michaud Farm in Bouctouche! Their strawberry u-pick is open for summer 2022 as of June 29; call (506) 743-6947 or check their Facebook page for updated times and availability.
Poirier Strawberry Farm in Bouctouche is a great spot to bring the family. Call 506-743-2922 or check their Facebook Page for current times; they are open for the 2022 season as of June 30.
Walker’s Strawberry Farm is about an hour’s drive from Moncton, located just outside of Sussex. Lots of fun cut outs to pose the kids in, and great reviews on the quality of berries; they are open for summer 2022 as of June 29. Check their Facebook page or call 433-1018 for updated information.
Bates Landing in Belleisle Bay offers u-pick strawberries again in 2022; you can call 485-2795 for weather updates and other information.
The Green Pig Country Market no longer offers a u-pick, but you can buy their fresh berries and enjoy a treat at The Little Red Rooster Cafe. Definitely worth the drive to Salisbury – and make plans to take in their annual sunflower festival, too!
Sunset U-Pick is “your u-pick in the city,” located at 49 Ferris Street in Fredericton.
The Old Pickard Farm (Keswick Ridge) opens for the season June 30, 2022.

Thanks for the info! I was just thinking about finding a local U Pick 🙂
Excellent! Happy picking!
This is fabulous! (Do you know what the organic gardening/pest control/spraying process is for any of these places?)
It’s so nice to have a lot of places from which to choose!
We are on a total fresh strawberry kick over here!
I haven’t had a chance to check into that, but I’ll keep it in mind for the future. I can’t wait to pick some and try your dip recipe!
Great list Jenna! Your site is my go-to for everything local and family related!
The williams farm link didn’t work for me… maybe needs an update?
You’re right – I hadn’t updated this post for 2018 yet! On it! 🙂
Great list! I had no idea about the haskap u-pick.
There’s also the Trueman Blueberry Farm in Aulac, near Sackville: blueberry u-pick and also a sunflower maze in August! AND homemade ice-cream. I love it there.
Vienneau? St Andre? Only 25 mins drive.
Thanks – will update!
