Strawberry U-Picks near Moncton

Strawberry U-Picking in the Greater Moncton Area

It’s a tasty time of year! Strawberry season is generally the month of July, with raspberry season starting toward the end of month. Here are links to strawberry u-picks that are a quick drive from Moncton, with a few raspberry & haskap berry farms mentioned, too.

PLEASE, check the source links and even call ahead before heading out; farms often have to close the fields because of weather and other conditions. We’d hate for you to be disappointed!

(Please note: We do our best to update this post each season, but sometimes you get here before we do – and sometimes businesses change. Always be sure to click through to the source links we provide and check directly with the farm before heading out! This post was last updated in July 2020.)

Les Petits Fruits de Pre-d’en-Haut in Memramcook is open for strawberry picking for summer 2020. Check their Facebook page or call (758-0987) before heading out, as they do occasionally close the field for a day or two to let berries ripen. There’s a little playground for the kids, and jams and jellies available to purchase. Watch for their raspberries to be ready soon after their strawberries, followed by highbush blueberries.Their pumpkin u-pick in mid-September.

Fraise Bellico is also located in Memramcook and open for the 2020 season. Check their Facebook page or call 506-899-1648 for updates. You can find them at 801 Chemin Pré-d’en-Haut.

Snap a family photo with a giant strawberry at Michaud Farm in Bouctouche. Their strawberry u-pick is open for summer 2020; call (506) 743-6947 or check their Facebook page for updated times and availability.

Hicks Berry Patch is a great little u-pick just outside of Sackville that is opening for summer 2020. You can call Hicks at 536-4593 and check their Facebook page for updates. Keep them in mind for blueberry season, too!

Poirier Strawberry Farm in Bouctouche is a great spot to bring the family. Call 506-743-2922 or check their Facebook Page for current times.

Walker’s Strawberry Farm is about an hour’s drive from Moncton, located just outside of Sussex. Lots of fun cut outs to pose the kids in, and great reviews on the quality of berries in previous years; they are opening for summer 2020. Check their Facebook page or call 433-1018 for updated information.

Bates Landing in Belleisle Bay offer u-pick strawberries, when available.

The Green Pig Strawberry U-Pick is not opening for the 2020 season, but their berries will be available at The Green Pig Country Market, which is also now home to a great little eatery, The Little Red Rooster Cafe. Definitely worth the drive to explore it all – and make plans to take in their annual sunflower festival, too!

You might also want to pick up some haskap berries this year; these little guys are said to taste like a mix of blueberries and raspberries and are ripe during strawberry season. There’s a Haskap U-Pick at 323 Scotch Settlement Road in Irishtown; be sure to tell them Pickle Planet sent you!

Spruce Lane Farms in Fawcett Hill (near Havelock) also offers a haskap u-pick.

Gilbert Farm in Burton offers a little bit of everything, including strawberries in season.

River View Orchard in Keswick is offering raspberries, but not strawberries, for the 2020 season.

Sunset U-Pick is “your u-pick in the city,” located at 49 Ferris Street.

The Old Pickard Farm is not opening for the 2020 season.

This is fabulous! (Do you know what the organic gardening/pest control/spraying process is for any of these places?)

It’s so nice to have a lot of places from which to choose!

We are on a total fresh strawberry kick over here!

I haven’t had a chance to check into that, but I’ll keep it in mind for the future. I can’t wait to pick some and try your dip recipe!

Great list! I had no idea about the haskap u-pick.
There’s also the Trueman Blueberry Farm in Aulac, near Sackville: blueberry u-pick and also a sunflower maze in August! AND homemade ice-cream. I love it there.
