Strawberry U-Picks near Moncton

Strawberry U-Picking in the Greater Moncton Area

It’s a tasty time of year! Strawberry season is generally the month of July (though sometimes starting in late June), with raspberry season starting toward the end of month. Here are links to strawberry u-picks that are a quick drive from Moncton, with a few raspberry & haskap berry farms mentioned, too.

PLEASE, check the source links and even call ahead before heading out; farms often have to close the fields because of weather and other conditions. We’d hate for you to be disappointed!

(Please note: We do our best to update this post each season, but sometimes you get here before we do – and sometimes businesses change. Always be sure to click through to the source links we provide and check directly with the farm before heading out! This post was last updated in June 2024.)

MONCTON & AREA BERRY U-PICKS

Les Petits Fruits de Pre-d’en-Haut in Memramcook is open for strawberry picking generally in late June. Check their Facebook page or call (758-0987) before heading out, as they do occasionally close the field for a day or two to let berries ripen. There’s a little playground for the kids, and jams and jellies available to purchase. Watch for their raspberries to be ready soon after their strawberries, followed by highbush blueberries. Their pumpkin u-pick opens in mid-September.

Ferme Vienneau is located roughly 25-minutes from Moncton, in Beaubassin East. Call 577-4948 to check on conditions & watch their Facebook page for updates. They grow much more than strawberries, so be sure to stock up!

The Green Pig Country Market is planning to be re-open for Summer 2024; not sure if u-pick will be an option but we’re keeping an eye on them!

Sunset U-Pick is “your u-pick in the city,” located at 49 Ferris Street in Fredericton. They generally offer strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

The Old Pickard Farm (Keswick Ridge) is planning to re-open in 2025.

This is fabulous! (Do you know what the organic gardening/pest control/spraying process is for any of these places?)

It’s so nice to have a lot of places from which to choose!

We are on a total fresh strawberry kick over here!

I haven’t had a chance to check into that, but I’ll keep it in mind for the future. I can’t wait to pick some and try your dip recipe!

Great list! I had no idea about the haskap u-pick.
There’s also the Trueman Blueberry Farm in Aulac, near Sackville: blueberry u-pick and also a sunflower maze in August! AND homemade ice-cream. I love it there.
