Dieppe’s Dover Park
Alrighty folks, this one has been on our ‘must share’ list for ages & we’re thrilled to finally include Dieppe’s Dover Park in our Pickle Planet Playground Profiles! Bookmark this one for when you’re searching for paved paths to help kiddos learning to ride bikes, scooters, & more!
This is a well-used field for local soccer games, so there is lots of parking. If you can manage to head out during school hours or weekday afternoons, you might just luck into having the place mostly to yourself!
Seriously, pretty much every time we’ve gone to Dover Park, we’ve had oodles of space to explore! The paths around the park are perfect for walking, running, or biking – even scooters & skateboards love this space.
It’s not all about the paths, though! The kids always enjoy the playground equipment here as well. There are some great climbing structures that appeal to older kids, easy access points for littler climbers, and a swing set with both infant and older seats.
We don’t make promises, but there have been port-a-potties on site every time we’ve visited. Always a bonus!!
Dover Park is maintained by the City of Dieppe. It’s open from dawn till dusk, seven days a week. You can access it via Codiac Transpo, which is awesome. The paths encourage walking, cycling, & rollerblading, there are picnic tables, benches, exercise stations, and of course the four soccer fields. You can reach out the City about reserving a field to play!
Punch in 337 Dover Road on your GPS to find your way — and don’t forget that you’ll be awfully close to Amiro Dairy Bar. Make plans to stop for a treat after your trip to the park! (PRO TIP: Bring friends, like our pals, Daubneys Adrift. Check out their site for incredible images & info on exploring New Brunswick!) Check out some other Dieppe playgrounds here, too!
