Dieppe’s Rotary St-Anselme Park & Splash Pad
Looking for a free, mini Magic Mountain? Head to Dieppe’s Rotary Park! The splash pad might not have big slides or a wave pool, but it has lots of family washrooms and lounge chairs!
This is certainly not just a summer destination, though! This is one of the most accessible, well-maintained, and versatile parks in the Greater Moncton Area. There’s a BMX track (we hear Remi Mantion can often be found there teaching kids to ride!), walking and biking trails, a duck pond, winter skating rinks and sleigh rides, and so many fabulous play structures!
The playground surface is rubberized, making it wheelchair/walker friendly, with two accessible swings and a pirate ship that is made with all little ones in mind – you can get on and off via a wide ramp.
There are climbing structures and mini zip-line bars for the more adventurous, with lots of room to run and play.
The splash pad is a major attraction, so if you’re looking to avoid crowds, you might not want to make this your destination on hot, sunny days. However, even on the busiest days we still find it easy to navigate and enjoy! It’s also a fantastic place to play any time of the year.
There is lots of parking right by the playground entrance, accessible and family washrooms, and you can rent the hall for gatherings!
Dieppe’s Rotary St-Anselme Park is easy to find, located at 505 Melanson Road. The splash pad is open 9am to 8pm, May through September, weather permitting. Sleigh rides happen on Sundays in January through March. You can rent the Pavilion for family and community gatherings, with costs ranging from an hourly rate of less than $100 to a daily rate of more than $600, depending on the rooms booked. If you haven’t been here yet with your family, put it on the to-do list now!
