Dieppe’s Camille Park: A Hidden Playground!
What a gem! Tucked into a grove of trees, surrounded by a groomed path, this playground is a lovely little oasis in Dieppe. It’s so hidden – I couldn’t find a name for it on a map! Thankfully a good friend lives nearby and showed us this magical little space. Here’s the view back from the park to the entrance on Richard Street, at the end of Camille Street. Melanson Road runs along the other side of the park.
I love the design of this playground – so many fantastic pieces placed together in a small space.
There are lots of neat climbing and balances structures, perfect for working on gross motor skills. There’s even a climbing tower, which we love!
This great space also offers a basketball court, four swings (two infant swings), bike racks, and some lovely benches and picnic tables.
This park also has a lovely little path through the surrounding woods, great for exploring!
As with most playgrounds, there is no washroom and only on-street parking, but everything else about this space is amazing!
The main playground has accessible ground covering and the trails are wide and well-groomed. There’s so much to explore and enjoy – you can easily spend half a day enjoying this space and a picnic!
Don’t forget – if you think this looks like a great place to play, share it with your friends! And visit Pickle Planet every Tuesday for a new playground profile; be sure to check out some of our other favourites!
