Teens & those young at heart can gather at the Moncton Library this afternoon for a showing of the classic rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You, starting at 2:30pm.
Moncton Inflate-a-Palooza takes over the Coliseum this weekend, with bouncy castles, rock climbing wall, vendors, and all kinds of fun! They have two sessions today, 11am-3pm & 4-8pm. Purchase your tickets in advance online; they do have capacity limits & you don’t want to be disappointed! There are two types of tickets – General Admission & All-Access Play. General Admission just gives you access to the games, mini golf, vendors, & food court. The All-Access Play Pass is what you need access to all the inflatables.
Kept on Main has a DIY bracelet making station set up in their adorable Main Street store. Create two for a minimum $5 donation and $3 per additional bracelet. The funds raised will go to local charity. Pop in anytime they’re open today & tomorrow!
And if you’re looking for a sweet treats, Trueman’s Blueberry Farms opens for the season outside Aulac today. Their ice cream is amazing – and if your name is Jennifer or Cole, you can enjoy a free cone between 11am & 5pm today.
AKA Dance Studio in Petitcodiac is hosting Valentine’s Day dances for youth tonight. Students in Kindergarten to Gr 3 are invited from 6-7pm, with Grades 4-7 from 7:30-9pm. Admission is $5, with snacks for sale, too.
BMHS presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at 7pm tonight. We caught their musical last year & it was incredible; we know this year’s will be just as impressive!

Moncton Souq is hosting a Ramadan Festival at the Community Hub on Joyce Avenue in Moncton. Everyone is welcome to attend. There will be special foods & treats – including a demonstration on rolling stuffed grape leaves and folding samosas, on-site custom calligraphy, storytelling, Islamic decorations, a pinch pot workshop (register in advance; there is a fee), llamas, balloon twisting, henna, & more! The event is from 10am – 6pm; some activities are happening throughout the day at particular times, so check their event details to ensure you see what interests you the most!

PolarFest will fill Moncton’s Centennial Park with winter fun today! Enjoy the sliding hill, the Kaboom outdoor hockey rink, the Muskrat Skating Trail, visit with llamas (noon to 4pm), take part in snow sculpture and snow angel contests, enjoy free hot chocolate, horse-drawn wagon rides (noon to 8pm), food trucks, beer garden, and the Geomatrix fire show at 6pm.
Fundy Frolic is underway; today’s activities include crafts at the Hillsborough Library at 10am, a slime session (registration required) at 1:30pm, and a showing of The Wild Robot at 3:30pm.
The New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association’s provincial wrestling championships are taking place at Moncton High, with meets beginning at 11am. Those 12 & under enter free; $2/student & $5/adult.
BGC Dieppe is open to the public today, to use their rock climbing wall (ages 7+) and craft area. Check them out from 11am to 1:30pm – no charge!

Amazing kids’ performers, Razzmatazz, will be in Cap Acadie for the Snowball Carnival! Catch their free, bilingual show from 1-2pm at the Haute-Aboujagane Community Center.
Following the show, head to Plein Air Park for sleigh rides from 2-5pm, and a campfire from 5-7pm. There’s also the Miss Boule de neige pageant at the St-André-LeBlanc Center at 6:30pm.
The Pointe du Chene Recreation & Community Centre is hosting a Frosty Fun Day, 3-7pm, with skating, sledding, & food.
Salisbury’s popular Lantern Walk returns to Highland Park tonight. It’s a quick but lovely winter event! Be at Highland Park at 6pm to walk the wetland trail lit by Swedish lanterns, then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with the Salisbury Fire Department. (This event was originally planned for Sunday but was moved to Saturday for optimum weather conditions.)
The Community of Three Rivers (Petitcodiac & area) is holding a outdoor winter carnival today at Maple Street Park, 3:30-6:30pm with skating on the outdoor rink, sliding, a scavenger hunt, disc golf, snowshoeing, bonfire with s’mores, and a BBQ fundraiser! The fun wraps up with fireworks at 7pm!
The Wildcats are hosting the Halifax Mooseheads tonight, game time 7pm. The theme for this hockey game is Acadian Night!

St-André-LeBlanc Center in Cap Acadie hosts a community breakfast today, 8am-noon.
Sunday morning skating with Wild Willie & the Moncton Wildcats! The 2nd annual Skate for Tate takes place today, 9am – noon, at the Avenir Centre. In memory of Tate Hughes, this is a fundraiser for Open Ice for Kids; more than $12,000 was raised last year to help more local kids discover the joy of hockey. There will be skating indoor & outside, as well as face painting, snacks, hot chocolate, silent auction, the chance to win a car from Moncton Honda, and of course Wild Willie & his Wildcats friends. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue, and you’re reminded that CSA approved helmets are required & no hockey equipment is to be used.

Sleigh rides are back at Dieppe’s Rotary St-Anselme Park for the season! Sundays until March 2 you can enjoy a horse & wagon ride through the trails and a hot chocolate at Café Inclusio. Cost is $5/person (free for children ages four & younger; please bring cash to pay on site). Rides available 1-4pm. (Private group rides are available; cost is $160 for 30 minutes. Boyle Family Farm is hosting an open farm day (admission rates apply) from 10am-4pm. Visit with the animals, warm up and roast marshmallows at the bonfire, try the kid-friendly axe throwing and lasso stations, and enjoy some crafts in the heated indoor area. Moved to Saturday due to weather.

You can book your own sleigh rides at several places in the GMA.
- Country Sleigh Rides is located roughly half an hour from downtown Moncton, about 15 minutes north of Costco. Check their Facebook group for open sleigh options (when you share with others, $10/person) or call 506-874-4090 to book a private session (up to 15 people, $150).
- Another option for sleigh rides is in Havelock; call 506-534-2223 to book. Cost is $10/person with a minimum charge of $60.
- Sundays (until March 2) in Dieppe’s Rotary St-Anselme Park can enjoy a horse & wagon ride through the trails and a hot chocolate at Café Inclusio. Cost is $5/person (free for children ages four & younger; please bring cash to pay on site). Rides available 1-4pm. (Private group rides are available; cost is $160 for 30 minutes. There are a few municipally-approved toboggan runs at Centennial Park in Moncton and Rotary St-Anselme Park in Dieppe. In Riverview, head to Winter Wonderland Park, on Quinn Court (off Gunningsville Boulevard).
Some other popular spots include the hill at Claude D. Taylor School in Riverview and Pascal Poirier Park in Shediac. Our kids love sliding at Highland Park in Salisbury!
In Fundy Park, check out the Headquarters Tobogganing Hill, and if you’re at Kouchibouquac Park, Patterson Hill is a great spot for sliding, though it is a long walk (2km) to reach the site.

🏊♀️ The indoor splash pad at the YMCA North End is an amazing option for kiddos – with public openings every day of the week! Check the schedule as times vary day-to-day; cost to attend for non-member is $6.
🏊♀️ For indoor swimming, there are public options at the YMCA Greater Moncton (love their small, warmer pool for little ones – Friday public swim 7-8pm, Saturday public swim 6:30-7:45, & Sunday public swim 2-3pm – thanks to the City, Friday & Sunday swims are just $3/person), the Pat Crossman Aquatic Centre in Riverview (Saturday public swims, 2-3:30pm), and the Dieppe Aquatic Centre (with the awesome sloped entry & pirate ship splash zone!).
Hop! Skip! Jump! is perfect for little ones, as well as the cool climbing wall & laser room for older kids.
⚡Burn off energy at SkyZone Moncton; half-price entry on Tuesday nights, and Glow Zone on Fridays & Saturdays. (They’re open 2-8pm on Monday.)
Bowling is always a fun idea! Go retro vibes with Marvelous Holy Bowly in Riverview, check out glow bowling times at Fairlanes in Moncton, or head to Bowlarama & its awesome arcade in Dieppe. (We recommend calling ahead to book in advance so you’re not disappointed.)

💥 Gamer in the family? The Comic Hunter hosts Friday Night Magic Modern sessions, Sunday Lorcana Locals, Monday Star Wars Unlimited Weekly Play & lots of other gaming events.

Bass Pro’s 12,000-gallon freshwater aquarium with striped bass, Atlantic sturgeon, trout, perch, and more is always fun to visit, especially when you need an indoor option.

🎧 There’s a roughly one hour iTour of downtown Moncton’s historical & cultural locations you can use to help you explore – a great way to add a little movement, a little history, and a little fun to your family outings! Be sure to check out all the amazing public art installations around the downtown core, too!
Local libraries are always a great spot to visit, with lots of programming for all ages – and also another rainy day must visit option. (They’re closed on Monday.)
BGC Dieppe is always a great place for families to connect, with lots of programming open to everyone.
Wondering what to do with littles during the week? The Early Childhood Family Resource Centre de Ressources à la Petite Enfance hosts several fabulous drop in programs & playgroups – including Musical Mondays in Sackville and Wednesdays in Riverview & Cap-Acadie.
