Riverview’s Goldsboro Park

We first heard of Riverview’s Goldsboro Park when they installed a ‘baby & me’ swing a little while back, but we’d never made the trip to visit until friends suggested it – and we’re so glad they did! This is now on the list of Pickle Planet favourites, for sure.

What a lovely, large green space! The space isn’t enclosed, but your kiddos would have to be very quick to make it to the road without you catching up! (As a parent to three kids, often heading to the playground without backup, the distance from play area to traffic is of great importance to me.)

This is the ‘baby and me’ swing, which is such fun. It’s great fun for siblings if one is small enough for the baby seat, too! In addition to this, there are two full swing sets.

Sometimes, it’s the simple things that make the biggest impression. Our kids loved the retro teeter totters!

Goldsboro Park has two great play structures appealing to different ages, with a third climbing piece to challenge the older kids. And if your little ones like slides, there are PLENTY to enjoy here!

There’s also a picnic table under a shelter, for afternoon snacking and shade, and so much green grass to enjoy! The park is dog-friendly and had a garbage can on site.

As with many of the playgrounds in the Greater Moncton Area, there is no dedicated parking nearby and no washrooms, but there are lots of spots to park along the nearby roads, including Goldsboro Aveune, Cherry Court, and Carnation Crescent. We found the easiest way to this Riverview park to be travelling up Trites Avenue, turning right onto Callowhill Road, then onto Goldsboro Avenue.

If you’re making a trip to visit Goldsboro Park, you won’t be far from another lovely space we’ve explored: Rebecca Avenue Park. Check it out, too!
