S7E32: Free family-friendly fun at the 19th annual Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival

Long time listeners may recall that Jenna wears many hats – including that of Event Manager for the Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival, which is happening June 10-14, 2025. Tune in as she highlights this year’s event, which includes hosting the Canadian Scottish Athletic Federations Women’s Championships – from ages 13 to 60+!

The Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival kicks off Tuesday, June 10 and wraps up Saturday, June 14 (you can see the whole schedule here) – but it’s that final day that’s the one with ALL the action.

  • WHEN: Saturday, June 14
  • WHERE: Hal Betts Sportsplex (the ballfields on Assomption Boulevard)
  • HOW LONG: Gates open 8am, but it’s mostly competitors there that early. General public it’s best to arrive after 9:30am, with closing Massed Bands scheduled for 5:30pm. After that, all the activity is in the Ceilidh Tent with music by Dram & A Draw and Morgan Toney.
  • HOW MUCH: Nothing – entry to everything is FREE!
