Five Ways You Can Tell PAW Patrol Is Canadian

If you have anyone under age four in your house, you’re likely familiar with the pups of Adventure Bay. Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Rubble, Marshall, and Skye are a group of happy-go-lucky do-gooder doggies who spend their days working together to rescue the residents of Adventure Bay. And they do it in proper Canadian fashion.

Yes, PAW Patrol is Canadian. The show is produced by Spin Master Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto. (It’s also the company behind Bakugan, Air Hogs, Little Charmers, the Zoomer Dino, and many other products you’ve likely seen on your children’s wish lists.) And there’s no mistaking the Canadian content in the show.

4. Cap’n Turbot’s fashion icon is obviously Relic from The Beachcombers. Not to mention he lives in Seal Island, his cousin is French, and their family name is a nod to the Turbot War.

5. A hit show where a dog – or in this case, dogs – helps people out of tricky situations. It’s The Littlest Hobo for the next generation.

Cool, I noticed Robertson screws being used in Paw Patrol. That’s what made me wonder if it’s Canadian. Great show, thank you very much.
