Tiny Dreams Campaign raising funds for bedside cameras in the Moncton NNICU

Having to leave your infant’s hospital bedside is a heavy burden for parents with little ones in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU). But a fundraising campaign currently underway during World Prematurity Awareness Month hopes to make the experience a bit easier on local parents.

Tiny Dreams, a non-profit fundraising group working with The Friends of the Moncton Hospital, is raising money to purchase hospital-approved bedside cameras that will allow parents to see their children in real time via a secure account on a mobile device.

NNICU mom Rachel Comeau is the driving force behind Tiny Dreams. She joined Tosh & Jenna – a fellow NNICU mom who is hosting this year’s national World Prematurity Day online event – for a discussion on this week’s episode.
