Michael’s has lots of Easter-themed workshops, starting with yarn chicks for the Saturday morning Kids Club craft on March 24 and an egg decorating session that afternoon (you buy the eggs, the craft supplies are provided). On Saturday, March 31, it’s Easter treat bags and bunny ears in the morning and slime in the afternoon. Check the site for details on pricing and times.

Looking for ideas to fill some Easter eggs that aren’t candy and chocolate? Ruth Ann at Everything Unscripted has some great ideas! For a fun no-bake treat, check out these little eggs & nests from Monica at Older Mommy, Still Yummy. Looking for something with a little chocolate kick but super healthy? Try Unsweetened Caroline’s Chocolate Chunk Protein Bars. (All these awesome blogs are also New Brunswick-based – so be sure to check them out and support their work!)
