Cinco De Mayo Cookies

Just a little bit of fun to have for May the 5th – or any day you want a little treat!

 

Mexican-themed restuarants and bars are embracing Cinco de Mayo as a day of celebration for all things Mexican – so why not get in on the fun?

These silly treats are fun for little hands to make and eat. I prefer to use Nilla wafers, to keep the cookies small.

Sugar cookies work great, too. Just choose your gumdrops based on which size you’re using.

Ingredients

• vanilla or sugar cookies

• icing

• sprinkles

• gumdrops

Instructions

Rim the cookie with icing; roll in sprinkles.

Add a dollop of icing to the top of the cookie; add the gumdrop on top.
