Gillian Crooks was just a teenager when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The disease progressed quickly, landing her in a wheelchair. Motherhood changed her outlook. With renewed desire not to let her diagnosis rule her life, Gillian reformed her nutritional habits, returned to her love of athletics, and achieved her dream of running a marathon.
