Moncton’s Brian Hicks Playground

The newly-updated Brian Hicks Park is a fantastic large green space playground in a busy residential area in Moncton’s North End.

The civic address is 120 Evergreen, but if you’re driving to enjoy this playground, we suggest parking on Ashley Crescent — and keep an eye out for the most fun little free library!

This park includes a small but mighty splash pad area and a full basketball court with two hoops.

When we visited, the swings were in great shape, with two infant seats and six others.

There’s a gazebo with benches and a table for shade, as well as benches under mature trees.

There are two play structures; one perfect for younger climbers and one that will appeal to older and more adventurous kids.

The larger play structure as a section of rope climbing and tall monkey bars, as well as two slides.

The smaller play structure has a great double slide.

If you’re out and about in the North End, maybe stopping in to ReConnect Health or Halo Donuts or coming to Knots JuJitsu for lessons, this is a great spot to take the kids to explore!
