Moncton’s Braemar Park
Looking for a sweet little space with space to cool off? Check out Moncton’s Braemar Park, a great multi-use playground tucked away in a quiet residential area near the University.

The playground has a great little splash pad, with shade and a shelter. I’ll try to get back when the water is on to get some better photos, but this gives you a good idea of what’s there.
There are two play structures, both suitable for toddlers.
There is a swing set with four seats; two were infant swings when we visited.
Lots of great shady spots!
There’s a great basketball court and lots of room to enjoy a picnic. This space seems well-used by the community, likely due to its proximity to the University. There was even a great little community garden bed in 2020!
There is on street parking, with access to the playground on all four sides. The parking is a little tight & watch for signs as to which spots are appropriate & when.
BONUS: Braemar Park is close to the Université de Moncton’s Ecological Park; you might want to check that out, as well!
Braemar Park is found at 45 Centre Street in Moncton.
Pickle Planet is on a mission to profiles as many local playgrounds as we can, because we want to make sure families are getting out & enjoying these amazing spaces! We post new each Tuesday from mid-April to mid-October; be sure to check back each week & follow us on Facebook & Instagram for reminders & sneak peeks!
