Dieppe’s weekly Fun on Ice is a fabulous way to embrace winter, enjoying skating on the oval, live music, bonfires, and hot chocolate at Place 1604. This week’s entertainment by Marty pi les Roots!
One Friday each month the folks at the Boys & Girls Club of Dieppe invites the community to join them for a free meal. Children and parents are welcome; a great chance to visit the facility and learn about their programs. Call 857-3807 ext.113 for details!

It’s always fun to start the weekend off with having someone else get breakfast ready! The Salisbury Lions Club is holding one of their fabulous pancake breakfasts this Saturday from 7am until 10am; cost is $8, $3 for children ages six to 10, and free for pre-schoolers. Enjoy all you can eat pancakes, sausages, muffins, and more.
Family Favourites return to Cineplex this week, with the Emoji Movie showing this Saturday morning. A great deal for family entertainment, at just $2.99 a ticket!
Enjoy a musical storytime at the Moncton library Saturday morning, and a Brazilian storytime in the afternoon.
There’s a fun new series of Saturday morning workshops happening at Resurgo Place, in partnership with the Musée acadien de l’Université de Moncton. Toys All Around Us encourages us to create, build, and recycle everyday items into entertainment, like homemade dolls, spinning tops, and more. (Included with regular admission.)
Magnetic Hill School’s Grade 8 class is fundraising for a trip to Quebec and are holding a Hockey Day on the Hill this Saturday. Admission is $5; enjoy a hot dog, chips, and a drink, watch hockey on the big screen, and meet Bernard Robichaud, who plays Cyrus on The Trailer Park Boys.
Enjoy a free ‘Ocean Adventure’ themed swim at Riverview’s Pat Crossman Aquatic Centre on Saturday afternoon – but you must tell staff three facts about your favourite sea creature to get in!
The Riverview Skatepark is hosting Bubble East Soccer on Saturday afternoon; stop by and check it out, just $5 for the hour!
Looking for something a little different to try with the kids? That Art Thing will be leading a kids’ painting session at the Riverview Superstore on Sunday afternoon. You must pre-register at the store’s service desk; this is a drop off event for kids ages seven and up. Cost is $25 plus tax!
