Speaking of what we do here each week at Pickle Planet, have you ever wanted to know more about this site — what it is, how it started, why it exists? I (Jenna, the one person who makes all this happen each week) shared my thoughts with Amplify East recently; you can read the article here.

I’m always a little surprised to hear from friends and local businesses that they don’t realize we offer advertising here at Pickle Planet, so expect to hear a little more self-promotion around here in 2019.

Pickle Planet is the leading media source for parents with children under the age of 18 in New Brunswick. If you know of any company or event that is looking to connect with thousands of local families, please take a moment to share this with them. We do limit the number of advertising spaces each month, so don’t expect a big change in what you see as a reader, but as a potential advertiser, please note we can’t say ‘yes’ to everyone, so the sooner you reach out the better! (If you’re planning a March Break camp or event, NOW is the time to secure your space!)

One final note: February is Winter Carnival Month in New Brunswick; we’ll be bringing you Pickle Planet’s Guide to the Riverview Winter Carnival soon, as well as a first-hand look at our family’s experience at the Jack Frost Festival in PEI. For a list of upcoming winter events, check this out!
